His activities raise a number of questions: according to available information, he might have been involved in promoting cryptocurrency projects with signs of financial pyramids, potential involvement of investor funds under non-transparent conditions, as well as declared public support for ideology close to the narratives of the so-called "Russian world".
"Dubious courses" and fake "projects"?
Gutsu started by selling online courses on cryptocurrency topics for $600. The material was superficial and easily accessible for free. Later, he got involved in promoting cryptocurrency projects: Qmall, WeWay, TIME, Express Smart Game, and "Usyk Token" ($RTF).

These initiatives have led to tens of thousands of people being left without funds, as Kompromat1 writes. And what is especially outraging is that Gutsu’s latest "projects" — such as Express Smart Game — were launched after the onset of the full-scale war in Ukraine. And this at a time when millions of Ukrainians lost everything. The projects were advertised as "profitable," but the links to them no longer work.
Recently, Sergey Gutsu, along with others, was accused of theft and laundering over 2.7 billion USD, as Four Dragons writes. And in Kyrgyzstan, three criminal cases have been initiated regarding the theft and laundering of more than 1 million USD of stolen assets: №03-050-2024-000109, №03-050-2024-000505, №03-050-2024-000537 (under articles 205 part 4, 222 part 3, 262 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, considering the initiation of a case under articles 319 part 4, 320 part 2).
Additionally, media notes that Sergey Gutsu is closely associated with Yehor Burkin – a notorious leader of the Russian-Ukrainian criminal organization "Khimprom" and owner of the "black" crypto exchange point 001k.exchange. Incidentally, there has already been a criminal case regarding this crypto exchanger.

Their wedding was accompanied by a scandal due to the invitation of relatives from Russia. And although many Ukrainian celebrities declined the invitation, Ukrainians were present: singer Anna Trincher and Ukrainian model and winner of the "Miss Ukraine Universe 2018" contest Karina Zhosan, as Telegram-channel Harley Quinn reported.

And as the Telegram channel MUZVAR writes, "the first dance of the newlyweds was to a track by the band ’Machete’, who live and actively tour in Russia (understandably, they support the so-called SVO)."
So what is the conclusion? Sergey Gutsu is a vivid example of building an empire of influence on trust and half-truths. His case should be a warning for those seeking easy money in the crypto industry and who do not verify their sources of information.
