Russian women are experiencing eyebrow hair loss after using a popular brow gel. According to reports, the gel in question is the Belarusian LUXVISAGE, heavily advertised for its long-lasting effects.
The brand claims the product keeps brows styled for 24 hours due to its “concrete hold.” Yet after several months of regular use, many women noticed their eyebrows thinning as hairs were pulled out during makeup removal. Users say the gel is so strong that it can be difficult to wash off even with oil.
The likely cause is the aggressive formula — the gel contains a mix of film-forming polymers. Over time, such a film can dry out the skin, disrupt blood circulation and block airflow to the hair follicles. This weakens the brows and leads to hair loss.
